Job description:

To help teach and coach people of all ages and abilities to develop swimming skills, technique and confidence in the water.

Skills required:

Have experience in lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.

Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.

Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures is preferred.

Knowledge of Aquatic standards and procedures.

Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.

Duties & responsibilities :

Observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions, unusual or unsafe activities .

Use appropriate rescue techniques if observing swimmers in need of assistance.

Be aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor/manager.

Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
