- Research and identify potential funding opportunities from local, regional, and international donors.
- Write compelling and professional grant proposals tailored to donor requirements.
- Submit grant applications on behalf of Nada Charitable Foundation in a timely manner.
- Communicate with donors via email, letters, or meetings to present the organization’s needs and follow up on submitted proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors to secure ongoing support.
- Monitor and report on the status of grant applications and funding outcomes.
- Collaborate with the team to align grant proposals with the organization’s goals and priorities.
Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in grant writing, preferably for non-profit or humanitarian organizations.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and well-structured proposals.
- Research Skills: Strong ability to research and identify funding opportunities from various sources (e.g., government agencies, international NGOs, private foundations).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with donors and represent the organization professionally.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the non-profit sector and funding landscape in Jordan or the region is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple grant applications, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Capability to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Business Administration, Social Sciences) or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online research tools.
