Job description

You perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for the guests.

What you will be doing:

• Takes prompt action relating to all maintenance orders concerning all plumbing services in the guest rooms, kitchen, health club, toilets, plant-rooms, swimming pool, all staff and guest locker rooms and all related areas
• Performs preventive maintenance works on all plumbing lines and sanitary fixtures as per the annual maintenance chart
• Notes all required spare parts and consumable material and instructs the storekeeper of the requirements
• With the help of the checklist, inspects the hotel on daily basis for any defects on the plumbing services and sanitary fixtures and takes prompt action to rectify the defects
• Takes the responsibilities of the pool attendant
• Takes regular readings on water and gas consumption and records it on the energy consumption record charts

Your experience and skills include:

• Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable

Your team and working environment:

• Member of the fire team
• Assists the general mechanic, boiler-man and refrigeration technician whenever required
• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times
• To provide courteous and professional service at all times
