Reprogene is a state-of-the-art clinical genetics facility independently and privately owned in the United States. We help individuals make informed clinical genomic related decisions to benefit their wellbeing, and provide early predictive genomic alternatives to improve the health of future generations. Utilizing the latest technologies and genetic testing, we educate individuals to make customized and proactive health choices. Our up to date genomic tests are able to detect human chromosomal abnormalities, genetic disorders, and inherited diseases even at an embryonic stage. For over a decade, Reprogene has been leading the field in providing specialized clinical genomic tests, and covering all major medical disciplines; including: clinical genomics, reproductive genomics, prenatal genomics, oncology, precision genomics medicine, general health and wellness genomics, female fertility health, sperm health and male fertility. Accuracy and reliability are the characteristics that signify our results and analysis. With our continuous engagement in research and development (R&D), Reprogene eliminated several of the last drawbacks of IVF treatment increasing its success rate by far to its highest. The organization is always devoted to innovate and progress to meet the evolving needs of clinical genomics field. Our quarters are conveniently located in Mission Viejo, California, since the facility was founded in 2005. We imprinted global presence in 2016 by opening our hub for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in Amman, Jordan, to reach our vision and fulfill our mission.
 

Job Requirements

Genomic laboratory technicians are quality driven processers. When our customers send us samples for sequencing, they help to prepare and process these samples as quickly and as awesomely as possible, while maintaining the highest quality standards in the industry. They prepare DNA templates which include preparation, amplification and PCR purification and load these samples onto the sequencers. They also work to prepare buffers and other related solutions. Customer focused. Our Lab Techs strictly adhere to laboratory SOPs to ensure quality and safety and often communicate with our customers via email. They understand our customer needs with empathy and know that everything they do is making a difference. The best at what they can be. They are proactive, multitasking, and able to meet tight deadlines, and strive in fast-paced work environments. They understand the big picture, while paying attention to the details. We even have a dedicated training program to ensure our Lab Techs are set up for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in human genetic, biotechnology, biology or any related field.
  • Master Degree of equivalent lab work experience preferred or plus.
  • 1+ years of lab work experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential.
