Sales Executive

  • The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities.
  • By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. 
  • Candidate will be reporting to the head of the sales department.
  • They will have the opportunity to work with one of the leading manufacturers in the region. 

Responsibilities

  • Generating revenue and meeting sales targets
  • Developing and qualifying leads within respective segments to drive additional sales opportunities through cold calling
  • Gathering and utilizing business intelligence on prospects to support sales product presentations and driving new business 
  • Developing various case studies on international markets 
  •  Identifying and visiting new potential customers. 
  •  Introducing the company's products/ services to the new customers. 
  • Maintaining good business relations with the current customers. 
  • Preparing and sending quotations to the customers promptly. 
  • Preparing sales plan for the weekly customer visits and follow-ups, as well as sales/revenue reports vs. targets 
  • Attending customer requirements with prompt response/communication at all times. 
  • Preparing and maintaining an updated customer database 
  • Reporting on current market trends and customer requirements 
  • Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
  • Any task that is relevant to the above-mentioned role

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with minimum 5-8 years experience within a sales role 
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English) and ability to influence and steer customers, and spot opportunities 
  • Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Analytical, quantitative and problem-solving aptitude is essential, with the ability to write reports 
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
  • Proficient in computer applications and standard office programs.
  • Able to carry on business conversation across different levels of customers including business owners and decision makers.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers and the general public.
