Darsel is a global non-profit education technology startup which is focused on improving math learning outcomes. Darsel has been operating in Jordan since 2021 and its chatbot-based learning platform is used in over 2,000 government schools.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Success Specialist to join our team and support our Jordan program. The primary responsibility of this role is to engage and support government school teachers to facilitate participation in Darsel’s program and maximize our educational impact.

The role is mostly remote, as communication with teachers will primarily occur through WhatsApp conversations and phone calls. However, periodic presence in Amman is required for in-person meetings and events.

This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the direction of a highly-impactful program and improve the learning experience of hundreds of thousands of students in Jordan.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers by answering questions, addressing concerns and complaints, and offering solutions
  • Encourage teachers by building and maintaining positive relationships, highlighting achievements, and offering data-based insights
  • Analyze usage data to identify changes in teacher engagement levels and take the necessary steps
  • Use a CRM system to track and manage relationships and issues
  • Collect feedback from teachers to enable program improvement
  • Identify solutions to emerging issues by working with other team members
  • Handle difficult situations with maturity and professionalism
  • Support program operations including training sessions, award ceremonies, marketing efforts, and various administrative functions

Skills

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer success or support role, preferably within the education sector or another impact-focused sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by teachers in the educational landscape
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote and asynchronous work environment.
  • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with maturity and professionalism
