KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) is a state-funded trade and investment promotion organizatino operated by the Government of South Korea. It was founded in 1962 and has promoted Korea's international trade and export since its establishment. Promotion activities from KOTRA include market research, sales and marketing for Korean SMEs(Small & Medium sized Enterprises) in Jordan, and organizing trade fairs and trade delegations into Jordan and Korea.

The KOTRA Amman office has been an established contact point for Jordanian companies, associations and institutions interested in business contacts with the Republic of Korea since 1977.

To strengthen our team in Amman at the earliest possible date, we are looking for one employee in the following areas :

Job Title : Levant Region Researcher (Part-time)

Tasks:

- Research information in the fields of market, trade, laws, regulations, and other relevant issues in Jordan and the neighboring countries

- Support for Korean companies wishing to enter the Jordanian and neighboring countries‘ market.

We Offer:

- Type of position: Half-time (4 hours per working day)

- Starting date of work : Tentative

- Monthly salary: 400 JOD (Gross)

- 6-month fixed-term employment contract which may/may not be extended at the end of the employment term (1 month of probation period included)

Skills

Requirements:

- Legally able to work for more than 6 months in Jordan (At least a permanent residence permit is required)

- Have at least a BA degree

- Business-fluent English skill

Preferences:

- If you can speak Korean, you could  be given preference when hiring.

- Previous knowledge of market research/consulting or marketing/sales in companies or organizations is an advantage.

- Successfully completed studies or a comparable qualification
