Job Brief:
Responsible for supporting capacity planning and assisting in managing IP product life cycles. This includes helping to maintain inventories related to IP network configurations and architecture. The role involves preparing basic reports to track system performance, assisting with the follow-up on new project implementations, and coordinating with operations and planning teams under supervision to support integration efforts. Additionally, the position includes supporting the management of Umniah ISP’s security solutions, learning about network security, routing, and switching performance, and contributing to efforts aimed at improving network efficiency and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of MDS Customer Services (MPLS) under supervision, support the management of the Umniah Core/MDS Network, and provide initial troubleshooting and second-level support with guidance
- Maintain the ISP environment to improve performance and achieve 99.95% monthly availability of the network in line with the defined SLA
- Assist in introducing new features and elements to the network under supervision, and contribute to the evaluation of implemented features by gathering data and providing initial assessments
- Control and monitor spare parts and handle data management
- Assist in maintaining network design and supporting the product life cycle. Contribute to capacity planning calculations and help ensure system availability, including components such as IGW, IGR, FWs, CGNAT, BRASs, and other related network elements, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist operational teams and other planning departments with network-related tasks and support the monitoring of Umniah's IP Core Network, handling customer requests and cases under supervision
- Assist the team to Implement and manage Umniah ISP security solutions
- Assist in handling IP Projects and reporting under senior team member supervision
- Assist in conducting on-site surveys to assess network requirements and infrastructure readiness, and help with routine checks and maintenance of network hardware and connections, either in the field or remotely
