- Review the civil works design, and manage the civil design, develop, create, and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
- Coordinate and participate with the technical committees in the review of the civil Specification and Drawings to ensure timely completion.
- Control the quality of the Designer's deliverables.
- Control the execution of the project during the construction phase.
- Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.
- Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies with due coordination with the Projects and Expansions teams.
- Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
- Follow up the Requests for Inspections (RFI) to be sure that it is being addressed by the Engineer in due time and without unjustified delay in the construction stage.
- Follow up the Transmittals of Documents (TOD) to be sure that it is being handled on due time and without any delay in the construction stage.
- Follow up the site and lab testing for the material and soil to ensure the quality in the construction stage.
Skills
- Civil Engineering Qualification is required (higher degree is plus).
- Experience in industrial projects for minimum 5 years and total of 10 years.
- Professional in using Codes, Standards (certificates in plus)
- Excellent in English language (reading, writing and speaking).
- The successful candidate must be a non-smoker.
The type of contract will be a service agreement.
