Maintaining the safety and health of employees and safety work environment by ensure the implementation of safety policies and procedures as well as documenting and reporting work related injuries or accidents while detecting system vulnerabilities and recommending proactive procedures.

Ensure the implementation of all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, suggesting process improvements where applicable.

Conduct safety inspections and provide safety reports to the department head, advising on personal protective equipment, hazards, and safety rule violations.

Prepare and implement emergency plans according to company policies and procedures.

Act as an emergency team member, responding to fires, chemical spills, injuries, and other incidents at the facility.

Provide safety training for employees on regulations, policies, and procedures.

Ensure safety posters and rules are posted in visible locations in compliance with labor laws.

Maintain all firefighting equipment in good condition and conduct regular fire prevention and equipment inspections.

Coordinate mutual fire protection plans and emergency responses with local authorities and other departments.

Investigate work accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, recommending solutions such as improved training or modifications to work methods.

Develop and enforce policies covering environmental protection and nature conservation.

Monitor environmental quality, handle pollution complaints, and advise on the environmental impact of new policies.

Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, managing waste disposal and pollution control activities.

Report safety and environmental irregularities such as fire hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.A degree in Engineering, Science or any related field to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related position, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry and/ / or a large facility.
• Excellent written, read and spoken Arabic and English.
• National, international health and safety laws and policies. (WHO, MOH & EU Regulations)
