The major Responsibilities of a Senior Quantity Surveyor are as follows:
- Conduct Quantity take-offs and measurements for Architectural/Civil/Structural/MEP works and abstracting quantities to establish standard Bill of Quantities.
- General assistant work related to the day-to-day work of the Quantity Surveying Office.
- Post Contract Quantity Surveying when required, includes progress monitoring and reporting on interim payment applications, assisting in assessment of change orders, etc.
- Identifying opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates, and products, and administering procedures, templates, and products.
Skills
Must have Qualifications:
- 12+ Years of Quantity Surveying experience in Construction Companies.
- 12+ Years of Quantity Surveying experience is a strong asset in the relevant field of hospital construction projects and Mega-size projects.
- Familiarity with working with Standard Method of Measurements.
- Reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications.
- Understanding of establishing unit prices and costing of construction cost estimates.
- Advanced user of MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, AutoCAD 2D & Civil 3D.
