The Talent Development Specialist at Avertra will be instrumental in supporting our Learning and Development department. This role focuses on creating and curating content for our L&D programs, conducting skill gap analyses, defining competencies, managing performance, and elevating the skills of our employees across all levels. A key responsibility is to foster and promote a culture of excellence within the organization.



Main Job Responsibilities (Duties & Tasks):

  • Design and develop engaging and effective learning content for L&D programs.
  • Regularly update and maintain training materials based on evolving company needs and industry trends.
  • Conduct thorough skills assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads to understand and address specific training and development needs.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across different functions to develop comprehensive training content and plans that address identified needs.
  • Assist in designing and implementing effective training assessments to measure learning outcomes and impact.
  • Ensure consistent and thorough reporting on training progress, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote continuous learning and best practice exchanges among departments.
  • Define and establish clear competency frameworks for various roles within the organization.
  • Align competency models with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Implement and oversee performance management processes.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers and employees in setting and achieving performance objectives.

  • Work closely with Operations, Talent Acquisition, and other departments to ensure alignment of L&D initiatives with overall organizational goals.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.

Education:


BA/BS degree in HR, Education, Business Administration, or any related field



Experience:


3-5 years of experience in talent development, learning and development, or any related field


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and modern training techniques
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
  • Native or excellent written and verbal English skills is a hard must
