Jordan Sweden Medical is looking to hire a Formulator with the following requirements:
Formulator Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and perform formulation experiments for development of stable formulations for liquid and solid dosage forms and are in compliance with general Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
- Evaluate existing literatures, patents and develop non-infringing formulations for new products.
- Conduct physical and chemical studies. Chemical Studies are to be organized with R&D analytical department to finalize formulation trials.
- Develop manufacturing processes for R&D formulations so that the technology transfer is successful for large-scale batches.
- Participating in the design of pre-formulation, optimization, and performing small-scale trials and scale-up batches.
- Write/review product development reports, batch records, process validation protocols and reports, method validation protocols and reports, method transfer protocols and reports, SOPs etc.
- Document all the product development activities in assigned laboratory notebooks. Manage multiple development projects and develop formulations in a timely manner.
Formulator Requirements and Qualifications:
• B.S. in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience, all interested candidates will be taken into consideration.
• English language: very good writing and conversation skills.
• Computer: Excellent in MS office, Outlook, and Excel.
• Hands-on experience with product processing and characterization equipment is a plus.
