Job Title: Senior Transportation Officer FSR # 548

Location: Amman

Job Summary

Supervise the overall transportations department including the transportation staff and the drivers team as well to, ensure constant follow up with the vehicle rental company and the transportation service company to ensure the capacity of vehicles/drivers/transportations will fulfill IMC demands.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities 

• Supervise the transportations staff and the driver’s team including in the camps and the urban locations and to follow up on any recruitment under the transportations department.
• Follow up with the transportations service company and ensure smooth transportations services for IMC team.
• Follow up with the vehicle rental company and ensure the update of the vehicle’s documentation.
• Follow up on the fuel account and ensure the availability of fuel credit alt the times.
• Organize all employee transportations movements in coordination with all departments on a daily basis.
• Organize the movement plan for all IMC visitors and arrange airport pick-ups/ drop off.
• Follow up on the fuel consumption for all IMC vehicles and report the monthly fuel consumption.
• Follow up on the maintenance requirements for al| vehicles and follow up on the require vehicle services.
• Follow up on the registration / insurance for all IMC vehicles.
• Maintain adequate tracking system for all vehicles movements.
• Ensure the transportations team and the drivers team are committed to the IMC regulations including the safety and the security regulations,
• Ensure that all vehicles are in excellent condition and regularly maintained.
• Ensure the availability of the vehicles service outside business hours. In order to address the requirements for any emergency.
• Liaise with the logistics and the security team and the senior management for al| staff movement.,
• Ensure appropriate communications with staff travelling and to address any change/revision in the travel plan.
• Ensure the vehicles are equipped with the relevant tools including the safety and the security items.
• Work with the logistics and the finance team to ensure regular reconciliation of invoices.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly report as required by the logistics.
• Support the logistics department when needed.

Qualifications 

• Previous experience in transportation department in a supervision role.
• Minimum five years-of experience in vehicle/drivers’ management with a general logistics experience.
