Digital Communication Officer

 

About the Role:

The digital communication officer is responsible of managing all JNCW digital channels, contributing to implementing the Communication and Advocacy plans, and achieving the Commission’s goals.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Medi management:

  • Managing all JNCW pages and account on all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, X and Youtube)
  • Produce high quality content tailored to various social media platforms (text, reels, stories).
  • Develop & submit monthly posting plans.
  • Submit annual and quarterly performance reports.
  • Design and implement social media strategies to broaden audience reach and raise awareness about JNCW mission and activities.
  • Develop needed posting plans for several campaigns.
  • Attend JNCW events/ workshops/ conferences to take necessary photos, stories to cover and publish on social media.
  • Running paid ad campaigns as needed and as requested by the direct Marketing & Communication Supervisor, in Line with the campaigns or Communication plans.
  • When requested, follow up with graphic design services providers/ freelancers.
  • Respond to all messages and comments on JNCW pages and accounts in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and engagement of the posted content, and provide insights about each campaign.
  •  Suggest actions and corrective actions resulting from continuous performance evaluation process.
  • Maintaining safety & ownership over JNCW social media accounts by applying recommended security procedures
  • Monitor and track all the important dates and events nationally, regionally and internationally which are related to JNCW work, to ensure an active participation.
  • Monitor related published content form stakeholders.
  • Use tools as Hootsuite to monitor, manage, post and issue reports.
  • Monitor and document any mentions of JNCW over the social media platforms.

Website Management:

  • Develop and maintain up to date content on Women.jo website, to ensure correct information and dynamic web presence.
  • Be the focal point of communication with the technical support service provides.
  • Monitor website functionality regularly, and take necessary actions to fix any issues.
  • Suggest enhancements on User experience to make sure website is efficient and informative.
  • Monitor traffic on website pages, and boost specific pages to achieve campaign communication and Advocacy goals.
  • Proofread all content on the website in a continuous manner.

 

Graphic Design support:

  • Support in creating simple visuals to post on social media using programs such as (Illustrator, Canva, etc..)

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Proven minimum experience of 4 years working and managing social media platforms (FB, Instagram, Linked In, Google adwords, Youtube, X)
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English and Arabic
  • Strong skills in video shooting and video editing.
  • Good in at least one of the popular video editing software.
  • Good writing skills in Arabic and English
  • Strong skills in photography
  • Good knowledge with analysis of insights and working with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, to perform monitoring, evaluation and social listening activities.
  • A strong multitasker
  • Good Knowledge of SEO
