Position Purpose
The Business Teacher is responisible to deliver BTEC Level 3 International Foundation Diploma courses within our Career-related Programme (CP) and to inspire students through engaging lessons, practical projects, and real-world business applications, preparing them for higher education and future careers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with BTEC Level 3 specifications and CP objectives.
- Assessing students’ work accurately and provide constructive feedback to support learning and progression.
- Guiding students in developing practical business skills, career planning, and the Reflective Project.
- Developing and updating curriculum materials, ensuring relevance and compliance with BTEC standards.
- Supporting student engagement in business-related extracurricular activities, competitions, and work placements.
- Participating in departmental and whole-school initiatives, contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance.
- Maintaining professional knowledge through continuous development in business education and BTEC assessment practices.
Position Requirements
- Relevant degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Experience teaching BTEC Level 3 Business or equivalent international qualifications.
- Strong understanding of Career-related Programme objectives (if possible) and student-centered learning approaches.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
