Job Description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Planning and organising:


  1. Recommends improvements in methods, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and maximize customer satisfaction.

Operations:


  1. Displays good teamwork attitudes while  working in a team for major Preventive Maintenance repairs or service works
  2. Be willing to train and instruct other members of the staff by passing along knowledge and skills.
  3. Creates an atmosphere of tranquility amongst the team.
  4. Complete the daily checklists as required.
  5. Executes all carpentry works and associated works to the highest professional standards.
  6. Performs the assigned tasks ensuring their implementation while working independently.
  7. Acts on issues and concerns in the carpentry field immediately.
  8. Control the stock and other items in his workshop and order more as required.
  9. To have a complete understanding of and to adhere to Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  10. Follow the grooming standards and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition at all times
  11. Attend departmental briefings.
  12. Is aware of the daily hotel activities and has product knowledge of the Hotel
  13. Analyze problems and formulate plans to get work done quickly with a high degree of quality.
  14. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Administration:


  1. Perform as per OSM Standards, and in line with the companies Values and Core Behaviours
  2. To attend training classes as scheduled.
  3. Shows fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
