Job Title - Plant Manager 



About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, cost control, and safe plant operations while meeting business and regulatory objectives.



Key Responsibilities



Plant Operations & Production Management
Oversee daily plant operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted production.
Plan and monitor production schedules to meet volume, quality, and delivery targets.
Optimize plant capacity, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain GMP, HACCP, ISO, and food safety protocols.
Enforce workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance across the plant.
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
Lead, mentor, and manage production, maintenance, quality, and support teams.
Develop training plans, performance objectives, and succession strategies.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Maintenance & Asset Management
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and utilities.
Coordinate with engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Oversee capital projects, upgrades, and plant expansion initiatives.
Cost Control & Performance Monitoring
Monitor plant KPIs, production costs, waste, and yield efficiency.
Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
Prepare operational reports and present performance insights to senior management.
Supply Chain & Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and planning teams to ensure raw material availability.
Align production with sales forecasts and inventory requirements.
Support new product launches and process improvements.



Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
8–12 years of experience in dairy or FMCG manufacturing operations.
Proven experience managing large-scale production facilities and cross-functional teams.
