Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

Analyze business and technical requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites.
Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, Sanity, UAT, and End-to-End testing.
Conduct API testing using RESTful services and validate responses.
Perform database testing and data integrity validation using SQL.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
Collaborate with developers and product teams throughout the SDLC and Agile ceremonies.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices.
Support performance testing activities when required.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
Strong SQL skills and experience with database validation.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
