Job description

A critical role has been established for a Quality Officer in the Jordanian Association for Medical Sciences for Palestinians. This position entails the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with local and international accreditation requirements (HCAC), and contributing to the enhancement of a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Development, implementation, and monitoring of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensuring compliance with local and international accreditation requirements (HCAC).
• Conducting internal audits and coordinating external inspection and accreditation visits.
• Updating policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and overseeing document and record control.
• Implementation and monitoring of Internal Quality Control (IQC) programs, and participation in External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs and proficiency testing (PT).
• Monitoring non-conformance cases, conducting necessary investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Identifying risks, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Executing training programs and evaluating staff competency in quality-related areas and accreditation requirements.
• Monitoring employee feedback and complaints, and implementing quality improvement plans.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of quality control and assurance and accreditation requirements.
• Experience in accreditation programs, proficiency testing, internal auditing, document control, and risk management.
• Ability to implement and monitor IQC and EQA programs and analyze their results.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and quality management software.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and guide others.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
