Assists with the monitoring of the security measures implementation as recommended in the Security Risks Management (SRM) process for IOM premises in all sites and other donor security requirements for relevant programmes. Support to monitor security guards assigned in the area under his/her responsibility act in a professional, trained and informed at all times in accordance with the local law in Jordan and formal manner, with IOM Staff, contractors, visitors and clients at all times. Building logistics linked with procurement and logistics unit under RMU department. Raise Purchase Request Form (PRF) upon approval to project manager for ad hoc and regular security equipment s process, such as service agreement for fire system, access card, ID machine, selections mission extra security guards for outside activities, CCTV upgrade request. Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect problems, including assessment of the spot check in CCTV for all locations in all sites Support to administer set SOPs on calling procedures, information management, and 24/7 security response safeguarding IOM staff and assets at the office. Maintain registered filing system and tracking procedures for premises keys, valuables, and visitors support the current, and projected security controls at the IOM offices. Assists to maintain routine and confidential correspondence files/documents and coordination for in all sitesfor Host Government Security Authorities presence for selection mission activities. Maintains a database on contact details of host country security authorities. Support in a coordinated function pre endorsed security guarding applications, and security control measures through an operational area and documented process. Support the IOM wardens system/Floor and Floor Fire Wardens under SRM Security Risk Management measurers in a coordinated process, when required to update staff contact lists, training to enhance this security contingency plan. Support the NSO-National Security officer in conducting CCTV survey and compliance with IOM security requirements. Supports in liaising with UNDSS and other local security stakeholders at the appropriate level. With the NSO guidance, maintain an orderly filing system for all security files including coordination with HR, ensure that all staffing lists, warden list and any other lists, as required by UNDSS, are accurately updated, and submitted in a timely manner. Respond to emergencies affecting the security and safety of the premises and notify the immediate supervisor or other designated staff immediately. Assists in reporting security incidents affecting IOM staff, offices and assets and refuges in in all sites and assists in the preparation of security reports, such as the Security Incident Report and other Security Assessments Report to NSO of any potential or actual breaches of security or unusual activity at the time of duty to IOM building. Check daily on the handling of the IOM visitor`s logbook system and the hand-over/take- over notes of the IOM security guards. Provides support in conducting security evaluations and provides advice on Residential Security Measures of IOM staff, as well as on latest trends and threats to staff safety and security. Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
University degree, from an accredited institution with minimum of Two (2) years related experience in Social science, computer science, law enforcement academy or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience, or High school certificate with a minimum Four (4) years related experience and prior experience with the UN system or an international NGO.
Experience
Experience dealing with diplomatic security, protection and intelligence services will be considered as an asset.
