<p>Provide end user support and ensure that all ICT support requests and quires are logged in the helpdesk ticketing system and answered appropriately within the agreed service level of agreement (SLA), by taking the ownership of these requests, open, update and close them in the heldpesk ticketing system.</p><p>a. Take ownership of users requests/issues and be proactive when dealing with these issues.</p><p>b. Provide Tier 1 level technical support such as immediate diagnosis and workarounds for reported incidents.</p><p>c. Log all actions and steps taken to respond to an incident or to complete a request.</p><p>d. Assist in determining root causes and propose resolution for problems raised by reported incidents.</p><p>e. Escalate to Tier 2 or supervisor or Global User Support (GUS) when necessary and according to the identified priority level of the issue.</p><p>Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation and reference materials for planned and delivered ICT systems in the mission and update global user support of the planned changes in advance.</p><p>Provide support, troubleshooting and necessary maintenance of network and system devices including servers (physical and virtual), switches, routers, and other relevant devices.</p><p>Install and relocate the organizational unit s hardware, coordinate equipment servicing and mange user accounts.</p><p>Maintain an update- to- date inventory of ICT software licenses and of ICT equipment in coordination with Asset unit, and advice the owners/management about assets that require replacement and the licenses that require renewal in a timely manner.</p><p>Assist in managing the regular updates of patches and firmware of operating system and other software and the distribution of the updates to all the workstations, as well other devices.</p><p>Regularly update to latest firmware/patches to ensure protection from threats and vulnerabilities.</p><p>Configure or assist in the configuration of servers (physical and virtual) and active LAN components including wireless devices and other security appliances.</p><p>Support the proper maintenance and upgrade of operating systems, as well as end user applications and software, including MS O365 (Including MS SharePoint)</p><p>Provide first line support to IOM s corporate applications and other in-house developed software.</p><p>Support in ensuring the proper implementation of ICT polices, guidelines and standard in IOM Jordan and work towards adherence to ICT strategy, to reach better efficiency.</p><p>Perform other related duties as required by his/her supervisor.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><h2>Required Qualifications and Experience</h2><p>Education University degree / (High school or diploma) in computer science or a combination of relevant education. <p>Assists with the monitoring of the security measures implementation as recommended in the Security Risks Management (SRM) process for IOM premises in all sites and other donor security requirements for relevant programmes. Support to monitor security guards assigned in the area under his/her responsibility act in a professional, trained and informed at all times in accordance with the local law in Jordan and formal manner, with IOM Staff, contractors, visitors and clients at all times. Building logistics linked with procurement and logistics unit under RMU department. Raise Purchase Request Form (PRF) upon approval to project manager for ad hoc and regular security equipment s process, such as service agreement for fire system, access card, ID machine, selections mission extra security guards for outside activities, CCTV upgrade request. Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect problems, including assessment of the spot check in CCTV for all locations in all sites Support to administer set SOPs on calling procedures, information management, and 24/7 security response safeguarding IOM staff and assets at the office. Maintain registered filing system and tracking procedures for premises keys, valuables, and visitors support the current, and projected security controls at the IOM offices. Assists to maintain routine and confidential correspondence files/documents and coordination for in all sitesfor Host Government Security Authorities presence for selection mission activities. Maintains a database on contact details of host country security authorities. Support in a coordinated function pre endorsed security guarding applications, and security control measures through an operational area and documented process. Support the IOM wardens system/Floor and Floor Fire Wardens under SRM Security Risk Management measurers in a coordinated process, when required to update staff contact lists, training to enhance this security contingency plan. Support the NSO-National Security officer in conducting CCTV survey and compliance with IOM security requirements. Supports in liaising with UNDSS and other local security stakeholders at the appropriate level. With the NSO guidance, maintain an orderly filing system for all security files including coordination with HR, ensure that all staffing lists, warden list and any other lists, as required by UNDSS, are accurately updated, and submitted in a timely manner. Respond to emergencies affecting the security and safety of the premises and notify the immediate supervisor or other designated staff immediately. Assists in reporting security incidents affecting IOM staff, offices and assets and refuges in in all sites and assists in the preparation of security reports, such as the Security Incident Report and other Security Assessments Report to NSO of any potential or actual breaches of security or unusual activity at the time of duty to IOM building. Check daily on the handling of the IOM visitor`s logbook system and the hand-over/take- over notes of the IOM security guards. Provides support in conducting security evaluations and provides advice on Residential Security Measures of IOM staff, as well as on latest trends and threats to staff safety and security. University degree, from an accredited institution with minimum of Two (2) years related experience in Social science, computer science, law enforcement academy or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience, or High school certificate with a minimum Four (4) years related experience and prior experience with the UN system or an international NGO.<br><br><h3>Experience</h3>
