The Jordanian Association for Medical Aid to Palestinians announces a vacancy for a Project Manager with extensive experience to lead its team. Responsibilities include overseeing, managing, and developing humanitarian and social services for patients, ensuring the efficient and high-quality implementation of project activities in alignment with project goals, organizational policies, and donor requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities, ensuring achievement of objectives and performance indicators within timelines.
- Manage and supervise multiple specialized teams, including mental health and psychosocial support, social workers, and community facilitators.
- Oversee services provided to beneficiaries, including shelter, food, transportation, social support, case management, and psychosocial assistance.
- Assess the needs of beneficiaries and monitor the most vulnerable cases to ensure they receive appropriate services.
- Ensure the application of safeguarding principles and non-harm, as well as safeguarding policies and PSEA, while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
- Identify operational, social, and humanitarian risks and develop response and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with internal management, departments, donor agencies, and health organizations.
- Represent the project in relevant meetings and committees.
- Prepare regular reports and donor reports, ensuring performance indicators are monitored and evaluated.
- Ensure effective utilization of resources and compliance with policies and procedures as well as donor requirements.
- Enhance quality, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement in project service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, community development, public health, social sciences, or any relevant field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing humanitarian or social projects.
- Experience in safeguarding, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), or case management.
- Experience working with international donor agencies and/or UN agencies.
- Proven experience in managing multiple specialized teams and preparing donor reports.
- PMP certification or relevant project management certification is preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
