Job Summary:

The Pattern Maker for Pad System is responsible for creating, adjusting, and perfecting patterns used in the production of padding systems. This role involves a blend of creative and technical skills to ensure the final products meet design specifications, fit standards, and production efficiency requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Pattern Development:
• Create initial patterns based on design sketches, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Modify and refine patterns to meet fit, style, and production requirements.
• Collaborate with designers to translate their concepts into workable patterns.
• Technical Specifications:
• Develop detailed technical specifications for each pattern.
• Ensure patterns are accurate and include all necessary markings and instructions for production.
• Sampling and Prototyping:
• Work with sample makers to develop prototypes and first samples.
• Review samples for accuracy, fit, and construction.
• Make necessary adjustments to patterns based on sample evaluations and feedback.
• Production Support:
• Provide pattern-related support to production teams.
• Resolve any pattern-related issues that arise during production.
• Ensure patterns are efficiently designed to minimize fabric waste and production time.
• Quality Control:
• Maintain high standards of quality in all pattern work.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure patterns align with industry standards and company requirements.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping:
• Maintain organized records of all patterns and related technical documents.
• Update pattern files and documentation as needed.
• Software Utilization:
• Utilize CAD software and other pattern-making tools to develop and modify patterns.
• Stay updated with the latest pattern-making software and technologies.

Qualifications:
• Education:
• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pattern making, preferably in the padding systems or apparel industry.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in pattern-making software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra, Optitex).
• Strong understanding of garment construction, grading, and fit.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with design and production teams.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
