Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Mechanical Engineering Professor to work on a contract basis. This role involves designing and delivering specialized engineering courses for a global education platform. You will develop curriculum materials and evaluate student performance in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:• Design and instruct undergraduate and graduate-level mechanical engineering courses• Develop and update course syllabi, lecture materials, and lab exercises• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and project assessments• Provide academic support and mentorship to students via virtual office hours• Collaborate with instructional designers to enhance learning outcomes
Required Skills & Qualifications:• PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field required• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the university level• Experience with online teaching platforms and LMS tools• Strong background in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and solid mechanics• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering simulation tools• Ability to create engaging virtual learning experiences
