Mechanical Site Engineer

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

Supervise installation, execution, and testing of MEP mechanical systems, including HVAC, chilled water, firefighting, and plumbing.
Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with electrical and civil teams to ensure smooth mechanical service integration.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Assist in the testing and commissioning of HVAC units, pumps, piping, firefighting, and plumbing networks.
Report daily site progress, material usage, and any deviations to the Project Manager – MEP.
Resolve technical issues and site conflicts by coordinating with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Ensure proper installation and alignment of ductwork, piping, valves, and mechanical equipment.
Monitor material deliveries and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure site requirements are met.
Ensure all safety measures and protocols are followed during mechanical installations.
Support in preparing project documentation, including work inspections, method statements, and progress reports.
Attend site meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients for coordination.

Qualifications and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: Minimum 1-6 years in MEP, HVAC, site EngineerSkills RequiredStrong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing.Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and mechanical layouts.Excellent problem-solving and site coordination skills.
