Mid-Level General Accountant with minimum 4 years’ experience to 7 years will play a critical role in a vary responsibilities based on the roles (Accounting, Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk, and more), but core duties often include:
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure proper account reconciliations.
- Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Assist with audits (internal & external) and ensure compliance
- Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, payments, Tax Authority & Portals.
- Manage customer invoicing, collections, and credit control.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track actual vs. budgeted expenses and report variances.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and financial planning.
- Process employee payroll (salaries, bonuses, deductions).
- Ensure timely tax filings (VAT, income tax, payroll tax).
- Stay updated on tax regulations to avoid penalties.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Optimize working capital (inventory, receivables, payables).
- Use ERP systems (SAP,) for financial transactions.
- Detect and prevent fraud or financial mismanagement.
- Assist with internal audits and risk assessments.
