Enterprise Analytics & Planning Manager

Job Brief:

Act as the single point of contact between the Enterprise and finance departments to assist management in business decisions to ensure business growth and long-term success by analyzing and evaluating business ideas commercially and financially and provide the proper recommendations and approvals, this includes conducting feasibility studies, preparing and monitoring forecasts and budgets. The role must oversee the business plan, cascade commercial KPIs for all the teams and ensure goals and targets are achieved. The role is also responsible for supporting and delivering to the Enterprise team B2B analytics and insights needs from analytical and predictive modeling solutions, to insights and research requirements with ultimate ownership over both roadmaps (proposing, developing, validating and delivering) in aim to increase opportunities and support in achieving targets. This is coupled with ultimate responsibility over geo-marketing, and to serve a technical-Enterprise liaison for all network related insights and requirements


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Enterprise POC for market research. Accordingly, manage and oversee the enterprise-wide research budget and roadmap, including market share trackers, brand research, communication testing, segments analysis and enterprise or business sizing and surveys
  • Act as the Enterprise POC for data and analytics related matters, from requirements, use cases, including data warehouse requests, tools and applications
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of market dynamics such as competitor analysis, market share, demographic trends, and growth projections
  • Act as the geo-marketing POC for all related matters with engineering, from network optimization, traffic forecast and base locations and any expansions derived from business plan
  • Contribute to the development of the strategy and planning objectives and participate in their achievement by performing related activities
  • Supervise the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and 5-year business plans, as revenues, direct costs, and OPEX/CAPEX of the Enterprise activities to ensure building the department’s targets in line with the corporate strategy
  • Determine and monitor key business initiatives that will drive business operations, cascade objectives & targets to related Enterprise parties
  • Supervise the preparation of in-depth analysis related to the customer base and behavior, compare trends for different periods and segments, and provide recommendation based on results to assist in maintaining a growing profitable business
  • Supervise setting collection/sales/non-financial targets per segment in Enterprise team and analyze actual performance with the planned
  • Supervise the conducted exercises related to monitoring the profitability of the products, business cases, and post evaluations, and recommend corrective actions to ensure maintaining a growing profitable business
  • Control Enterprise team OPEX & CAPEX, follow up on spending vs. remaining budget to ensure proper spending and not exceeding budget caps. Optimize OPEX expenditure by challenging existing expenses models, enhancing commission schemas and always seeking for efficient alternatives. Support Enterprise teams with ad-hoc requests
  • Prepare and manage all Board and Group performance-related and ad-hoc reports
  • Support in making adjustments to corporate strategy in line with regular progress tracking by providing tracking information as a basis for adjustment & strategic projects
  • Act as a focal point for Enterprise reports for the management and various Enterprise & non-Enterprise departments

leadership/management

  • Manage subordinates’ learning & development requirements and ensure that it is successfully delivered and provide related feedback to the management
  • Assign roles and work load distribution, set team objectives and conduct regular informal one-on-one meetings to deliver personalized feedback and provide support to attain goals
  • Conduct formal performance evaluation process for the subordinates in order to optimize workplace productivity
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, evaluation process of new employees.
  • Provide guidance and delegate responsibilities to subordinates to facilitate performing different tasks to support succession planning process
  • Manage subordinates' administrational requirements
  • Assure that all subordinates are following Umniah’s policies and procedures and highlight any violation for the code of conduct
  • Manage economic, efficient and effective budget plan and control in alignment with the department and Umniah’s strategy
  • Ensure that employees are engaged and motivated through creating a respectful and trusting relationship with them and communicating Umniah values
  • Demonstrate flexibility in management by accommodating individual employee needs such as adjustable schedules or remote work options.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Excellent knowledge of building business and financial models concepts
  • Business related sense combining both Enterprise and Finance
  • Excellent command of computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent knowledge of data processing and preparation, either through self-service tools (e.g. Alteryx) or script based
  • Excellent knowledge of data tabulation, summarization and visualization
  • Excellent knowledge of statistics
  • Excellent knowledge of predictive models and analytics solutions

Desirable:

  • Good knowledge of RPA
  • Basic Knowledge of predictive modeling components
