Key Responsibilities
- Conduct secondary Interviews and accept Mentees into the program
- Conduct introductory meetings/ calls with Mentees to explain the YouthToPro mentorship process, objectives & expectations
- Support Mentees in writing a letter of intent to mentors, strengths & weaknesses analysis, CV and LinkedIn profile
- Conduct introductory meetings with Mentors to align on the YouthToPro mentorship process, objectives & expectations
- Arrange the kick-off meetings between Mentors and Mentees
- Verify that mentorship program is executed according to timelines and in line with YouthToPro’s overarching mentorship objectives
- Collect regular feedback from Mentors and Mentees to ensure effectiveness and integrity of the program and the mentor-mentee relationship. This includes assessing and addressing potential issues identified.
- Works with YouthToPro Life Coach to schedule coaching sessions for mentees
- Assists Mentees with preparing and arranging for mock and informational interviews during the program
- Conducts exit interviews with Mentors and Mentees at the end of the program
- Build and maintain regular management reporting to YouthToPro Operation Manager and leadership on progress, operational risks and recommended mitigation plan
- Effectively utilise the mentor database & companies enrolled through business development to help secure jobs and internships for the mentees
Skills
Professional Competencies and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in client management and dealing with professional executives
- Previous experience in mentoring, coaching, or managing people
- Experience in working with youth is an added advantage
- Experience in human capital development and career planning
Skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- English and Arabic language proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft office particularly Excel
- Strong communication (verbal & written) and relationship building skills
