Job Title: Focus Group Discussion & Qualitative Assessment - Consultant FSR # 625
Location: Amman, Azraq Camp, Mafraq-Zaatari, Irbid

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Co-facilitate a total of 8
6 FGDs, 2 in urban areas and 62 FGDs in each of the 2 refugee camp within the given timeframe.
- Maintain an open, safe, and neutral environment for participants to share their experiences
- Take detailed notes during each FGD session.
- Transcribe FGD sessions accurately (or ensure appropriate translation if conducted in Arabic).
- Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of data collected
- Conduct a thorough thematic analysis of the qualitative data using qualitative analysis software or manual coding.
- Identify and summarize key themes and patterns emerging from FGDs
- Align findings with the project's objectives and thematic areas of focus
- Draft a detailed report synthesizing the findings from the FGDs conducted in both urban and camp locations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in social sciences, anthropology, or a related field
- Proven experience in qualitative research, specifically in FGD facilitation
- Strong analytical skills with experience in thematic analysis
- Excellent note-taking, transcription, and writing skills
- Familiarity with the context of Jordan and its refugee camps is an asset
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
Deliverables:
- FGD Guide Feedback: Input on the FGD guide before fieldwork.
- FGD Notes and Transcriptions: Detailed notes from all four FGDs, including transcripts
- Qualitative Data Analysis: Thematic analysis of the data collected during FGDs.
- Draft Final Report: A draft report presenting the qualitative findings from FGDs.
