JOB SUMMARY
Provide technical assistance to the Transportation Department and deputize the Senior Transportation Officer during his absence at the main office.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Provide technical assistance to the Transportation Department and deputize the Senior Transportation Officer during his absence at the main office.
- Drive IMC” s vehicles as needed for business -related matters as planned according to the daily fleet transportation plan.
- Comply with IMC’s standard procedures and regulation in terms of safety and security according to the IMC’s polices and the Jordanian laws.
- Comply with IMC’s logistics’ standards procedures regarding implementing vehicles’ regulations.
- Monitor and maintain vehicles’ tracking sheet.
- Ensure that all vehicles have logbooks, and all drivers are filing them every journey. Any car without logbooks or sheet is not to be used.
- Following up of the daily tracking movement as requested by the Transportation Officer.
- Provide basic needed information to the newcomers and other guests and visitors to Jordan at the airport to meet their needs according to their visit’s schedules.
- Ensure that drivers conduct daily and weekly vehicles checks and report any faults or damages to the Transportation Department to maintain it as necessary.
- Fill the security report and email it on time to the IMC security manager and upload it to the IMC incidents web site (giving full details), in case of any rented or owned IMC vehicle accident.
- Assist in development and oversight of daily activities and assist in implementing.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- license / Certification Valid driving license. 4 Class
- Typically, 5+ years of relevant and progressive experience working in related field, including 3+ years of humanitarian experience in fleet /transportation.
- Education Degree High school
- Good level of English language, spoken and written
- Good Computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
