Job Summary:
Our Client is looking for two resources a Content Acquisition Senior / Manager who will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing value-added services (VAS) and Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) content partnerships. This role focuses on building relationships with content providers, managing the end-to-end content acquisition process, and ensuring a robust and diverse portfolio that meets market demands and operator requirements in MEA region. This role is in the commercial department and will report to CCO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Sourcing and Acquisition:
- Identify and source relevant content providers for VAS and DCB aggregation across entertainment, gaming, music, lifestyle, and other verticals in MEA region.
- Negotiate terms with content providers to ensure favorable deals that align with company goals and revenue targets.
- Maintain a diverse content portfolio that supports both user acquisition and retention strategies.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with content providers, ensuring continuous access to new and high-quality content.
- Collaborate partners to understand their needs and secure content that meets market demand.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging content providers in the VAS and DCB sectors.
- Conduct regular performance analysis of acquired content to evaluate its impact on revenue and user engagement.
- Contract Negotiation and Compliance:
- Lead negotiations on contract terms, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage contract execution and ensure all stakeholders meet their obligations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in content acquisition, business development, or partnerships in VAS, DCB, or telecommunications.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Deep understanding of the VAS and DCB markets, especially in the MEA region.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with content providers and operators.
