Overview
The Grants Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the USAID-funded and MOH-led Partnership for Health and Family Planning project (PHFP). The Grants Specialist will be pivotal in strengthening the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) capacity to effectively design, issue, and monitor grants. Focusing primarily on the Health Communication and Awareness Directorate (HCAD) and Woman and Child Health Directorate (WCHD), this role will support the MOH through the entire grant lifecycle from the development of grant proposals and issuing calls for applications to monitoring implementation, ensuring compliance, and reporting. The specialist will provide essential technical guidance, training, and capacity-building support, ensuring that the MOH meets USAID grant management standards and donor requirements. Strong communication skills, a deep understanding of USAID regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
