Job Summary

Health care provider

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • It is your responsibility to administer first-aid treatment and life-support care to sick or injured     person in a pre -hospital setting.
  • It is your responsibility to know how to operate equipment such as EKGs, external defibrillator and bag valve -mask resuscitations in advanced life-support
  • it is your responsibility to know how to assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures
  • It is your responsibility to know how to maintain the medical and communication equipment and replenish first-aid equipment and supplies
  • It is your responsibility to know How observe, record, and report to physician the patient’s condition or injury, the treatment provided, and reaction to drug and treatment
  • It is your responsibility to know How to perform emergency diagnostic and treatment procedures, such as stomach suction, airway management, and heart monitoring, during the ambulance ride
  • It is your responsibility to check the ambulance and their medical contents daily and document the signature of the form prepared for that.
  • It is your responsibility to follow up and accompany all cases transferred to a hospital within the emergency department, and your responsibility to complete all necessary procedures for the patient during his -emergency treatment
  • It is your responsibility to work in ER department and clinics staff as a nurse while not needed for emergency transfers.
  • Any other related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Training:

  • Participate in medical and management trainings as determine by IMC 
  • Continue self-education to adhere with national/international standards and new advancements in the field of general practice and other relevant medical area

Others:

  • Ensure integration of clinic services and promote best quality standards for clients
  • Assist with additional tasks as determined to be needed by supervisors
  • Expert knowledge of emergency -Nursing -medicine
  • Active Paramedic license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional multitasking and time-management skills
  • Ability to work closely with a team and patients
  • Willingness to continually learn the latest advancements in emergency nursing -Medicine ,
  • Ability to place intravenous lines, set bones and perform other emergency medical tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Other duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature     and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ,

  • Bachelor degree in  paramedic
  • Not less than two years of experience , is a must.
  • Emergency department  experience one year at least is a must.
  • ACLS , BLS, trauma , certified is preferred .
  • NGO,s experience preferable
