Noorart, an international company specialized in publishing and distributing educational materials, is currently seeking to hire a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Amman, Jordan. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have excellent mathematical and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records by reconciling accounts and identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and contribute to overall business goals.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and protect company assets.
Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
