We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Group Transformation Director. The Group Transformation Director will lead and oversee the organization’s transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, digital transformation, cultural change, and innovation to enhance business performance and sustainability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and Lead Transformation roadmap:
- Develop the company’s transformation plan, ensuring alignment with the Group’s strategy, objectives and priorities – This shall be done in collaboration with the top leadership, entity GMs and respective BU Heads.
- Establish transformation milestones, Impact, KPIs, and timelines for each project/initiative, ensuring effective monitoring and successful execution of the same.
- The transformation projects/initiatives involve digital transformation, synergies, operational improvements, Centers of Excellence, knowledge-management system, organizational redesign, centralized vs. decentralized functions/activities, group unified procurement (as relevant), etc.
Synergy Identification, coordination and implementation:
- Identify areas of “Synergies” across Group entities and BUs - Analyze the organization's various business units and operations to identify areas for synergy in terms of operational efficiency, cross-selling opportunities, improved productivity, optimal resource allocation, and operational alignment.
- Develop a synergy roadmap with prioritization, start-end dates, impact and ownership.
- Lead the orchestration and collaboration among the relevant teams and business units to ensure successful identification and realization of synergies impact.
- Ensure alignment and availability of required systems, processes, and resources across the group to streamline operations and eliminate redundancies.
Stakeholder alignment and management:
- Engage with and align the executive team and other key stakeholders on a common understanding of transformation, plan, initiatives selection, prioritization, implementation and impact measurement.
- Communicate and regularly update the leadership team on transformation milestones and outcomes, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.
Knowledge sharing and institutionalization of best practices:
- Establish a knowledge-sharing mechanism and process; and identify activities, information, updates, expertise, etc. that shall add value to the Group entities.
- Implement Best Practices - Develop and implement best practices and guidelines for key areas, technical, project management, and operational performance, etc.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT. An MBA or business training course(s) is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in a senior role in the ICT sector, with a proven track record of achievements.
- Problem solving, orchestration skills and ability to manage complex activities across multiple entities and functions; and ability to identify synergies, inefficiencies, and improvement areas.
- Project Management - Expertise in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and budgets.
- Hands-on experience in ICT domains and solutions.
- Ability to effectively apply a balanced thinking and approach between the big picture (macro view) and strong execution (micro view); as well as the long-term strategic vision and short-term quick wins.
