Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Export Logistics Officer to manage all aspects of our export logistics operations in the food production industry. The role involves optimizing supply chain efficiency, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and overseeing the shipping process from production to delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams, negotiate with freight forwarders, and monitor performance metrics. Additionally, you will mentor junior staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Export strategy to develop and implement strategies for seamless movement of FMCG and F&B products, optimizing cost and efficiency.
• End-to-End operations to oversee the export process from order receipt to delivery, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Supplier negotiation to negotiate contracts and pricing with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents for competitive rates.
• Regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to international trade regulations and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FDA).
• Budget control to manage the export logistics budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Risk management to identify and mitigate risks in the export supply chain, including customs delays and regulatory changes.
• Reporting to provide performance reports to senior management, including cost analysis and areas for improvement.
• Team leadership to lead and develop the export logistics team, ensuring high standards and goal achievement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field; professional or academic certifications are preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in export logistics or a similar role within the food production industry.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and export procedures.
• Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors and customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English is required, with proficiency in another language being preferred.
