Project Manager

Job Description

Responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of high value revenue projects through

effective collaborations.

  • Collaborate with Clients, Vendors, Service Providers and other internal/external stakeholders and obtain commitments for issue free delivery of medium to large size key initiatives.
  • Establish project plan: define project scope, secure the necessary resources & plans & monitor all activities
  • Drive project execution: track project activities to ensure delivery, monitor & handle changes, conflicts & escalations
  • Handle customer & stakeholder engagement: manage & build stakeholder confidence & trust, ensure project progress arranging meetings & customer events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of key projects right from involvement in requirement

consolidation, conceptualization, planning, execution and delivery.

  • Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for aligning deliveries with

Client expectations.

  • End-to-end vendor management.
  • Ensure project plan creation, management and implementation within stipulated time

lines and budget.

  • Ensure creation, management and completion of all documentation in line with NI Project

Management Process.

  • Manage and sustain issue free delivery of all assigned projects and initiatives in order to

Achieve Required Results And Ensure Good Customer Experience.

  • Ensure optimum timelines for obtaining cost approvals through effective collaborations

with vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Manage ongoing communication with all stakeholders with escalations wherever

appropriate.

  • Ultimately responsible for all aspects of the Project right from inception to delivery.
  • Establish, develop partnerships with Clients by acting as a trusted advisor to NI Clients

by identifying/agreeing on needs and pro-actively providing solutions

  • Provide professional project management support to other internal areas for internal

projects/initiatives

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of projects and create good customer experiences through

fulfillment of client expectations well within timelines and budget.

  • Manage compliance requirements during project delivery through adherence to NI policy

standards for data security and Visa, MasterCard card scheme mandates.

  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive data and client information
  • Ensure adherence to NI project management processes and ensure due diligence during

all stages of projects/initiatives for quality solution deployment to NI Clients.

  • Manage change management across the project internally and externally
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risk across the process.
  • Provide guidance to subordinates, ensure effective team building and skill upgrading for

subordinates for meeting end objectives.

Qualifications

Experience/ Skills Required

  • Proven experience gained within the banking and services world out of which 7-8 years

be in the Cards & Payment domain.

  • PMP or Prince2 certification
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the project management techniques, tools and

processes and detailed understanding of Project Management Methodology including

Waterfall and Agile.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and JIRA
  • High degree of independent judgement, with an ability to handle confidential and

sensitive information

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Very good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration

with clients. Good mentoring, team building, motivating, & negotiating skills.

  • Working to tight deadlines, an ability to perform well in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong team player, flexible, proactive, with a strong desire to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
