Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Sustainability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on the development, implementation, and management of strategies to achieve green building certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, Mostadam, and others. This role requires a strong understanding of sustainable building practices, environmental standards, and certification processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the certification process for green building projects, ensuring compliance with certification requirements such as LEED, WELL, BREEAM, Mostadam, or equivalent.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainability standards into building design, construction, and operations.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to incorporate sustainable practices.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on green building strategies and certification processes.
• Prepare and submit documentation required for certification applications, including for Mostadam.
• Create sustainability reports, presentations, and other communications for stakeholders.

Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil /mechanical engineering, Sustainability, Architecture, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in sustainability consulting or a related field.
• Proven experience in achieving green building certifications such as LEED, WELL, BREEAM, or Mostadam.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Green Building framework and certification processes is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

• LEED AP (Accredited Professional), WELL AP, BREEAM Assessor, or Mostadam AP accreditation.
• Additional sustainability-related certifications are a plus.
