Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Salesman to join our growing team in a leading construction and building materials company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key clients including factories, large-scale construction projects, NGOs and key accounts. The Salesman will promote and sell our wide range of hardware and construction tools, ensuring client satisfaction and maximizing sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including factory managers, project leads, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
- Present and demonstrate products to clients, ensuring they understand the features, benefits, and value propositions of our building and construction materials.
- Conduct sales meetings, negotiate contracts, and close deals with large-scale accounts and long-term project partners.
- Provide personalized product recommendations and solutions tailored to the specific needs of clients’ construction projects and manufacturing operations.
- Manage and nurture existing client accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction, repeat business, and potential upsell opportunities.
- Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of products to meet client needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
- Assist clients with post-sales support, including product troubleshooting and advice on product usage and applications.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salesman in the hardware, construction tools, or industrial products industry (minimum 4 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of the industry product range, as well as the needs of large industrial clients and construction projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong ability to influence decision-makers and close deals.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites, factories, and construction projects as needed.
