The L3 DC Engineer serves as a subject matter expert in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex Cisco-based data center infrastructures.

 They handle escalated incidents, architect solutions, and lead root cause analysis efforts

Core Technical Skills:

• Cisco ACI Expertise:

• Deep hands-on experience with APIC, fabric setup, contracts, policies, and multi-site

• Capable of troubleshooting fabric discovery issues, endpoint learning problems, Static Bindings, Bridge Domains, and L3Out configurations

• Routing & Switching (Advanced):

• Strong knowledge and hands-on with OSPF, BGP, route maps, redistribution, and peering

• Experience designing and implementing high-availability networks and failover scenarios

• Cisco Nexus Deep-Dive:

• Expertise with NX-OS, vPC, FabricPath, VXLAN, EVPN

• Configuration and troubleshooting of Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k

• Configuration and troubleshooting of Multicast routing

• Strong knowledge and hands-on with ACI device provisioning and upgrades

• Experience with data formats (XML,JSON) and Automation tools(NSO, Postman, Insomnia)
