Senior Purchasing Officer

A leading industrial company based in Al Qastal – Amman, Jordan is seeking a qualified, energetic, 

and self-motivated professional to join its dynamic and career-oriented team in the following position:
Position: Senior Purchasing Officer
Qualifications:
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the purchasing or procurement field, preferably in industrial or manufacturing companies.
Solid financial knowledge related to purchasing activities (cost analysis, supplier payments, and budgeting).
Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and make informed purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all purchasing activities for local and international suppliers.
Receive and review purchase requests and ensure compliance with company policies.
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance.
Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts to achieve optimal value for the company.
Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of materials.
Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing records and reports.
Analyze purchasing costs and assist in budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve the purchasing process and supplier performance.
