Market Strategies & Planning Category Manager

  • What you’ll do:
  • Strategy and Policies:
    Contributes to the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy and policies for the assigned product category within the Nuqul Group.
  • Integrated Marketing Plan:
    Collaborates with operational teams and corporate strategic planning to ensure a cohesive, integrated marketing approach for the category.
  • Marketing Plan:
    Develops and manages an annual marketing action plan for the category, setting realistic targets, budgets, performance metrics, and contingency plans.
  • Plan Implementation:
    Oversees the execution of the category marketing plans, ensuring Category Leaders align with strategic goals and deliver on commitments effectively.
  • Market Audits:
    Conducts market audits within the relevant category to assess strengths, weaknesses, competitor activity, and market positioning.
  • Market Research:
    Leads ongoing market research efforts to identify market trends and potential product or service innovations that align with Nuqul Group’s category strategy.
  • Project Management:
    Manages strategic marketing initiatives, focusing on identifying and capitalizing on new category-related opportunities, whether product-based or channel-driven.
  • Brand Strategies:
    Develops and implements category-specific brand strategies, ensuring each brand within the category achieves its objectives, contributes to overall portfolio value, and maintains strong market positioning.
  • Product Development:
    Guides the new product development process within the category, driving innovation and ensuring product offerings align with market demands to secure competitive advantages.
  • Agency and Channel Evaluation:
    Assesses the performance of agencies and communication channels supporting the category, ensuring maximum return on investment and making adjustments as needed.
  • Leadership and Management:
    Leads and mentors the marketing team, ensuring effective performance and fostering the development of skills necessary to achieve the strategic goals of the category.
  • What you’ll need:
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience as an MS&P.
  • Knowledge of product pricing, distribution, and positioning.
  • Familiarity with latest marketing trends and best practices in FMCG.
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field.
  • Experience in managing distributors.
