Crowne Plaza Resort Petra is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Control Room Operator to join our pre-opening team. This role is essential in monitoring life safety, building, and guest room management systems, responding promptly to alarms and emergency situations, and coordinating with concerned departments in line with hotel safety standards and emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the Fire Alarm System and respond immediately to alarms, faults, and system notifications
• Operate and monitor the Guest Room Management System (GRMS), including air conditioning, lighting, and room occupancy status
• Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure proper operation of HVAC, energy, and critical building systems
• Receive and handle emergency phone calls professionally and in accordance with hotel emergency procedures
• Coordinate immediately with Engineering, Security, and Duty Management in the event of alarms or emergency calls
• Implement emergency response and evacuation procedures when required
• Log and record all alarms, emergency calls, incidents, and follow-up actions accurately
• Report any critical faults or abnormal conditions to the Duty Manager without delay
• Comply with all hotel safety policies, civil defence requirements, and operational standards
