- Description: Overview Our client is a leading medium-sized, well-established company in the Retail and Food Distribution industry. With a strong footprint across the Levant and GCC, they have built a reputation for excellence in delivering high-quality products. They are currently seeking a strategic and results-driven General Manager to lead their Jordan operations and continue their trajectory of growth within the region. Key Responsibilities The General Manager will report directly to the Owner and oversee the following core functions:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to expand market share in Jordan, aligning with the group’s regional objectives.
- Sales & Channel Management: Drive aggressive growth strategies specifically targeting HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) and traditional retail channels.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the P&L, budgeting, and financial forecasting, utilizing your background in Finance/Accounting to ensure lean operations and high ROI.
- Supply Chain & Logistics: Oversee the end-to-end distribution process to ensure product integrity and timely delivery across all local territories.
- Team Excellence: Lead, mentor, and structure a high-performing sales and operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintain and develop "top-to-top" relationships with key accounts, suppliers, and regulatory bodies within the food industry.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure all business activities align with international food safety standards and the structured corporate policies of the parent company.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with a heavy emphasis on Sales Management in FMCG/Food Distribution.
- Education: BA .
- Skills: Proven track record in structured environments; deep expertise in HORECA channels is essential.
- Languages: Native-level Arabic and fluent English (written and spoken).
- Availability: Immediate joiners or those with a 30-day notice period are preferred.
- Location: Based in Amman (Open to candidates currently inside or outside Jordan)
