Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Structural Design Engineer located in Amman, Jordan.
The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis, designing steel and other structural systems, and preparing detailed technical drawings using CAD tools like AutoCAD.
Daily responsibilities include liaising with other engineers and construction teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to the successful execution of diverse construction projects.
Collaboration and precision are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis to design safe and efficient structures
- Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for preparing detailed drawings
- A background in Civil Engineering is essential to evaluate construction materials and processes
- Ability to interpret and apply industry standards and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or related Engineering field
- Experience in light-gauge or cold-formed steel structures is a plus
