On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Delivery & Project Manager to join their team in Amman, Jordan.
Job Summary
Own end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives —
including ERP systems, internal and customer-facing digital products/This role
is both:
• Project Manager: controls scope, timeline, cost, risks, vendors,
stakeholders, governance.
• Delivery Lead: drives execution squads, removes blockers,
ensures quality, manages go-live and post-go-live stabilization.
You
are accountable for outcome, not just documentation.Responsibilities 1. Delivery & Execution Management
- Build, maintain, and communicate the
integrated project plan using Microsoft Project (timelines, milestones,
dependencies, critical - Track day-to-day execution using Azure
DevOps boards and backlogs (epics, features, PBIs, bugs) and ensure work items
map - Lead day-to-day standups / status
checkpoints with development, QA, product owners, architects, security,
infrastructure, and - Drive delivery for multiple
workstreams in parallel (for example: ERP Finance rollout + Mobile App release
+ new Product module). - Ensure every release has a deployment
plan, rollback plan, and defined owner in Azure DevOps pipelines / release
notes.
2. Scope & Requirements Control
- Capture and freeze business
requirements and translate them into delivery scope, milestones, and acceptance
criteria. - Manage change requests (CRs): analyze
impact on timeline, budget, risk, and communicate for approval through the
proper - Ensure clear definition of “done” for
every feature / module (functional, technical, security, data, and performance
requirements).
3. ERP Programs
- Lead ERP implementation and upgrade
projects (e.g. Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, Operations), from fit-gap
analysis - Coordinate with functional and
technical ERP consultants to enforce standards and reduce unnecessary
customization. - Ensure regulatory and compliance
requirements are captured early: finance rules, statutory reporting, tax
authority / government
4. Product / Platform Delivery
- Work with Product Owners to prioritize
roadmap items based on business value, readiness, cost, and risk. - Break high-level product vision into
incremental releases with measurable outcomes (KPIs, adoption targets, SLA
impact, revenue/ - Align UX, backend services, APIs,
analytics/telemetry, and security review into each release.
5. Mobile Applications Delivery
- Manage full mobile release cycles (iOS
/ Android): backlog, build, QA, UAT, app store readiness, publishing, hotfix
strategy. - Ensure app performance, usability,
localization (for example Arabic/English), and compliance with data privacy /
PII handling - Coordinate with Security and
Compliance on secure API usage, authentication, and encryption.
6. Budget, Vendor & Contract Management
- Own the delivery budget for each
initiative: internal effort, external vendors, licenses, infrastructure,
support, and change requests. - Validate vendor statements of work
(SOW), deliverables, SLAs, milestones, and acceptance criteria. - Track vendor burn rate, escalate
underperformance, and negotiate recovery plans without increasing total cost.
7. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Maintain a RAID log (Risks,
Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) with owners, mitigation actions, and
deadlines. - Predict delivery blockers early
(environment readiness, test data availability, integration dependencies,
approvals). - Run structured go/no-go checkpoints
before any production release.
8. Quality & Testing Governance
- Define and enforce the testing
strategy: System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT),
performance testing, - Ensure defects are triaged,
prioritized, and closed before go-live; drive the cut-scope vs. delay decision
with stakeholders. - Confirm data migration and end-to-end
integrations are fully tested, not only individual components.
9. Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Act as the single point of contact for
executive stakeholders (Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, Customer Experience,
etc.). - Provide transparent, concise status
reporting based on Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps data: timeline health,
budget health, - Drive user onboarding, training, and
adoption plans with business owners, not just technical rollout.
10. Governance, Compliance & Auditability
- Ensure delivery follows internal
governance: approval matrix, architecture review, change control board,
security review, and - Maintain delivery documentation
(designs, decisions, test evidence, training material, runbooks) in a
controlled, central repository.
- Ensure
that Azure DevOps is used as the audit trail for work items, approvals,
evidence, and UAT sign-off.
Requirements- 5+ years’ experience in IT project management / delivery management roles.
- Proven track record delivering at least two of the following:
-ERP
implementation or upgrade.
-Mobile
application rollout to end customers / field users.
-Core
digital product or platform launch (B2B or B2C).
- Experience running UAT and production go-lives with business users, not only technical teams.
- Demonstrated vendor/SOW management and multi-vendor coordination.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps as core delivery tools.
Strong
Plus
- Experience in manpower solutions, workforce management, service marketplace, on-demand services, or similar operational • PMP, Prince2, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
- ITIL / service management exposure (incident, problem, change).
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PDPL / data privacy obligations, and security review processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
Master’s
degree or MBA is a plus.
