ROLE SUMMARY

The Product Designer is responsible for supporting Majid Al Futtaim Retail’s UX design team more independently, contributing to elevating the user experience by handling more complex design tasks and projects. This role is designed for those who are passionate about every aspect of UX/UI design and are ready to take a key role in shaping the product's design direction

ROLE PROFILE

• Execute full-scale design projects, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring that each step aligns with the user's needs and the product's goals.
• Advance and innovate UX processes, actively contributing to the development and refinement of design strategies and methodologies.
• Conduct in-depth design audits, heuristic evaluations, and comparative analysis to maintain and improve design quality and user satisfaction.
• Serve as a bridge between design, product management, and engineering teams, advocating for best practices in UX/UI while ensuring technical feasibility.
• Mentor junior designers, sharing expertise and providing guidance to nurture their development and integration into the design team.
• Take the initiative in DesignOps to streamline workflows and enhance the overall efficiency and quality of the design output.
• Lead and facilitate creative design sessions, promoting innovative thinking and problem-solving among team members.
• Contribute to the enhancement and scalability of the design system, advocating for consistency and design excellence.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in design and technology, incorporating innovative ideas and tools into the team's workflow.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, with a preference for additional specialized training or certification in UX/UI design.
• 2+ years of in-depth experience in UX/UI design, with demonstrated success in leading design initiatives and projects.
