Job Overview
The selected candidate will report directly to the Legal Affairs Director within the litigation department. This role involves drafting and reviewing all legal documents and court submissions, as well as representing the company in court hearings. Additionally, the lawyer will be responsible for legal drafting and providing counsel on various legal documents.
The successful applicant will also be expected to draft and review legal regulations and documents, follow up on all court and enforcement cases relevant to the company, and handle the collection of receivables. Responsibilities include liaising with various government departments related to the legal affairs and business operations of the company, and participating in the review of company documents and transactions before governmental authorities.

Main Duties
- Draft, review, advise on, and negotiate legal letters, undertakings, notices, and other legal documents pertaining to the company's transactions and operations.
- Advise on, draft, and review documents related to the company's interactions with various governmental bodies.
- Conduct research and provide advice on Jordanian law.
- Prepare and draft legal opinions.
- Provide legal support and advice to the company's subsidiaries.
- Draft legal pleadings and notifications, and submit them as required.
- Monitor all legal matters related to the company's dealings with government entities.
- Conduct research and provide consultation regarding Jordanian law.
- Offer legal support to the company's subsidiary entities.
Requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in law from an official Jordanian university with a grade of no less than 'Good.'
- At least five years (preferably eight or more) of experience after admission to the Jordanian Bar Association as a practicing lawyer.
- High proficiency in Arabic, including reading, speaking, and writing.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including complaints, answers, and motions.
- Capable of representing cases before judges, examining witnesses, and presenting arguments in court.
- Experience in corporate legal affairs and company operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Jordanian laws and regulations, with particular emphasis on labor law, companies law, and insurance law .
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, both orally and in writing.
- Expertise in drafting pleadings and legal briefs for all types of cases.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in Jordanian laws, regulations, and instructions, especially labor law, companies law, and insurance law.
- Knowledge of the company's business and operations is an added advantage.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all staff levels and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- The willingness to improve the legal knowledge and skills.
