Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate the POS terminal accurately to process cash, card, and digital payments in a timely manner.
- Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and provide information on product features, promotions, and policies.
- Handle cash drawer responsibilities, perform cash reconciliation, and report discrepancies following company procedures.
- Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and order tracking while upholding store policies.
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, merchandise presentation, and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge to upsell and cross-sell relevant items when appropriate.
- Adhere to security, safety, and loss prevention procedures at all times.
- Document and report customer feedback and issues to the appropriate team for resolution.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a University degree (Bachelor) with a focus relevant to retail or business preferred.
- Internship-level role with a proactive attitude toward learning and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and high accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by store staffing needs.
