Job Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused Cashiers to join our dynamic team in Jordan. 

This internship-level role provides an excellent entry point into the retail operations and customer service field, offering hands-on experience in transaction processing, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and daily store operations. 

The successful candidate will support sales teams, ensure accurate cash handling, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Operate the POS terminal accurately to process cash, card, and digital payments in a timely manner.
  • Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and provide information on product features, promotions, and policies.
  • Handle cash drawer responsibilities, perform cash reconciliation, and report discrepancies following company procedures.
  • Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and order tracking while upholding store policies.
  • Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, merchandise presentation, and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge to upsell and cross-sell relevant items when appropriate.
  • Adhere to security, safety, and loss prevention procedures at all times.
  • Document and report customer feedback and issues to the appropriate team for resolution.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a University degree (Bachelor) with a focus relevant to retail or business preferred.
  • Internship-level role with a proactive attitude toward learning and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and high accuracy in cash handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by store staffing needs.
